Our client’s company was within the Australian gaming and betting industry. The client was looking for a data expert to help them extract value from a big pool of databases that they had built over the years. The client wanted to unlock the insights that reside inside in order to:
- Help their marketing team manage promotions and tracking their campaign & promotions success
- Help the product team understand customer behaviour
- Help the business by creating tracking dashboards for key metrics
- Unlock insights into player behaviour to enable them to continue iterating on their journey
Since this is an ongoing project, weekly meetings are conducted with the client to understand the ongoing requirement of the company and build the dashboards for data visualisations on PowerBI by querying the needful on SQL. Furthermore, data extraction is also done from excel to give meaningful insights of the numeric output to the client in order to assess the performance of an ongoing scheme and promotions related to customer retention, churn, spending, expenses and others.
